Preparing for Your Customer Journey Interview

Quality interview preparation can be made simple, and it includes:

  1. STEP 1: Biographical information and assets – Founding or leading a nonprofit comes from deep in the heart, and people in such positions have typically been influenced by childhood or other transformative events. When an interview starts start with a brief biographical segment, it more deeply connects the viewer to the back story of why the nonprofit exists and creates a crucial element of trust in the person or people involved. STEP 2: Provide “B-Roll” – Two people on camera is great, but when it comes to humanizing and illustrating what you and your nonprofit is all about, as the old saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” B-Roll is simply a term that refers to the photos and/or video clips that are cut in to help support the narrative.
